8 May: Geometric Shapes and Lettering Tapestry Weaving Workshop
In this tapestry weaving workshop for complete beginners to intermediate weavers, participants can explore geometric shapes building and geometric lettering. The techniques included are weaving squares, diagonals and letters and creating slits. Additionally, the participants will learn how to sew up a slit and understand the building blocks of how tapestry is made. This course will be fun, informative and an enjoyable learning experience.
Participants will work on pre-warped frames, demonstrations will be given, all materials and equipment will be provided by the tutor.
