About Spinnaker Shanty:
Spinnaker Shanty came into being to perform a prestigious gig aboard HMS Victory, Portsmouth in October 2017. Since then, after some personnel changes, we are now a quartet of three male voices and one female. We often sing sea-related material that may be slightly distanced from the standard shanty work songs: forebitters or settings of nautical poems, though we can be enticed, with the right audience, to belt out the crowd-pleasers too. Shanties are so catchy.
