12 Oct: Friends from Across the Pond - The Natural World in the work of Thomas and Frost
Immerse yourself in the intimate friendship of Edward Thomas and Robert Frost in this evening of friendly discourse between members of the Edward Thomas Fellowship and the Robert Frost Society.
The evening will begin with an examiniation of how both poets treat birdsong in their work, before pulling back and looking at how the friends represent and reflect on the bigger picture of wildlife and the environment.
With participants including, Robert Hass, Virginia Smith, Don Sheehy, Ednda Longley, Guy Cuthbertson and Tom Durham, with a few special guest appearances, this will be an evening of fascinating insite, discusson and debate into the two poets and friends.
