Art of the Face - Portraiture Course (5 or 10 week course)
Join artist Livvy Stainer for a highly-practical, 10-week journey into the fascinating art of portraiture. This course is designed for artists who want to move beyond basic sketching and learn the essential techniques for capturing a convincing, lifelike resemblance.
What you will master: Structure of the head, accurate facial proportions, drawing and shading facial features, realistic hair texture, understanding tonal values, and the subtle art of colour mixing for flesh tones. Working primarily with chalk pastels and guided by regular, detailed demos, you will build confidence and produce realistic results.
The 10-week course is split into two manageable 5-week blocks for flexibility.
10-week course (21st, 28th April, 5th, 19th, 26th May, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th June) = £150.00
5 - week block (21st, 28th April, 5th, 19th and 26th May, and/or 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th June) = £80.00
